Log Book Servicing
Murrumba Auto Care can carry out all Log Book Servicing as required by most of the major manufacturers, without vioding your warranty.
To retain your warranty the log book must be stamped by the service centre and parts/lubricants used must be of equal to or better than the original vehicle manufacturers specifications.
Most vehicles require their servicing at 10,000 km intervals, some at 15,000 km and a few are now at 20,000 kms.
This has changed in recent years due to the technology used in the manufacture of the vehicle and also the advancement in the production of oils.
A typical log book service includes:
- Brake system inspection
- Lubrication and Filter changes
- Belt adjustments
- Suspension checks
- Steering component checks
- Engine Flushes
- Fuel system flushes
- Coolant /Cooling system inspections and flushes
- Retightening of noted components to specific torque settings
- Also other vehicle specific requirements
- Lighting and electrical system checks
- Exhaust system checks
- Tyre pressure and wear checks
If we find a problem with the vehicle while it is still under warranty, we will advise you and provide a report fo4r you to take to the dealership. If there are any problems incurred at the dealership, a simple phone call to us can easily clarify matters.
